Some couples just click — you know, that kind of effortless connection where it feels like they’ve known each other forever, even though their love story is still unfolding. Clarissa and Eric are one of those couples. I had the honor of photographing their engagement during a little mini session, and let me tell you, it was a blast.

It was a bit on the chilly side for Texas (I’m talking cold for Texas—definitely not what we’re used to here!), but despite the cold, the whole session was just so much fun. They were both so easygoing and genuinely joyful that any discomfort from the weather was totally forgotten.

From the moment they walked up, it was clear that Clarissa and Eric were made for each other. Clarissa, with her glowing smile and natural ease, was a dream in front of the camera – she just radiated joy, and it made everything feel so effortless.

And then there’s Eric, who was completely adorable. He couldn’t stop smiling when he looked at Clarissa, and honestly, it was infectious. It didn’t matter what I was asking them to do; his main focus was just making her laugh and enjoy the moment. That kind of joy and attention is rare to see, and it was so clear how much he truly cherishes her.

As we wrapped up the session, I couldn’t help but feel so lucky to have had the chance to document this chapter in their love story. It’s always such an honor to be invited into someone’s life in such a personal way, and I’m thrilled for these two as they begin this exciting new chapter together.
